GUARANTEE CERTIFICATE

Warranty terms and conditions:

This warranty certificate certifies that Kadna products meet the parameters and quality requirements according to the international standards corresponding to the class in which they fall. They benefit from a guarantee provided that the rules of use laid down are complied with. The commercial warranty period is 30 days from the date of purchase. Kadna will only change products with manufacturing defects if they have not been worn. The warranty does not cover products with defects caused by blows, negligence, wear or misuse, which are not related to defects in material or workmanship. According to law 449/2003, art. II paragraph 2, the buyer cannot request the replacement of the jewellery due to the stones. Kadna will carry out any repair of the products within the warranty period free of charge or the product will be replaced, under the conditions of the revised Government Ordinance no. 21/1992, if it is confirmed that a defect in material or workmanship was the cause of such damage. If the jewellery cannot be repaired, Kadna can replace the defective jewellery with a similar model depending on the buyer's choice.

Precautions and recommendations (for jewellery):

  • We recommend that you protect your jewellery from bumps, gently open bracelets, earrings and necklaces;
  • Be careful to wear jewellery encrusted with stones or pearls because their mount does not withstand mechanical shocks.
  • Jewellery must be removed before bathing, washing dishes or before other similar activities in which the jewellery comes into contact with water, detergents, cosmetics and chemicals. The skin's natural oil can help maintain the shine of pearls, while perspiration acid can attack and discolor the pearl.
  • The pearls are kept separately in your jewellery box. Avoid storing them together with other jewellery or firmer stones.
  • The precious metal can lose its shine over time if it comes into frequent contact with external agents.

Precautions and recommendations (for fine art prints):

To protect your fine art prints and ensure they stay in pristine condition, please consider the following guidelines:

  • Heat: Exposure to heat can lead to yellowing, cracking, and peeling of your prints. Even when using UV-protective glass, heat can still cause damage, so avoid placing your prints near heat sources.

  • Pollution: Air pollution can contribute to fading, yellowing, and cracking of prints. Pollutants can enter from the outdoors or be generated indoors by household cleaners, electronic devices, and fresh paint or adhesives. Keep your prints in well-ventilated areas with minimal exposure to these elements.

  • Humidity: High humidity can dull the surface of your print and cause it to stick to other surfaces or even develop mold. To avoid this, maintain a stable and low humidity level in the room where your art is displayed.

  • Framing Materials: The quality of framing materials is crucial in preserving your prints. Low-grade paperboard and backing materials can trigger oxidation reactions that lead to fading. Always use archival-quality framing materials to ensure longevity.

Handling Tips for Fine Art Prints:

  • Use Gloves: Always wear gloves when handling your fine art prints. Nitrile gloves are ideal for unframed prints to prevent oils and contaminants from transferring, while cotton gloves are best for handling framed pieces. Additionally, gloves protect your skin from sharp edges found on acrylic or metal prints.

  • Use Auxiliary Supports: When handling unframed prints, try to minimize direct contact, even with gloves. Hold them by the edges or use a backing material like matboard or sturdy cardboard to support the print and avoid accidental bending or flexing.

  • Avoid Rolling: Rolling your prints, especially on paper, can cause scratches and other damage. It's best to store and transport them flat whenever possible.

By following these guidelines, you can enjoy your fine art prints in their full glory for years to come.
